Memo From: Alex H. Edelman
Re: Passover Chometz Disposal Update

In response to the Coronavirus crisis, this year there will not be a public burning, nor a public drop off, of chometz.

Any and all remaining chometz should be placed in plastic garbage bags (not garbage cans that belong to you) between 7:00am and 11:51am on Wednesday, April 8th, and placed curbside in front of your home (thus declared hefkar/annulled/ownerless) for collection by Sanitary District One. All other garbage will be picked up at the regular time and at the regular location.

We appreciate your cooperation, and wish you and your family a happy, healthy and safe holiday.

Alex H. Edelman
Mayor
