READ: An Optimistic Letter From Camp Dina

0

Dear Camp Families,

The ACA and CDC have released their Summer Camp Guidance, and this past Friday, the Governor of Pennsylvania presented his guidelines as well. Pennsylvania is taking a three-phase approach, and our area will be moving into the second phase this week. Our local officials are projecting that we will move into the third phase by mid-June, which would allow camp to open. However, since the Governor has not actually committed to an exact date when that third phase will take effect, if we are able to open, there is a possibility of a delayed opening. We will continue to update you as soon as we are given more information.

In addition, our own camp safety protocols and policies are in development. Some of these include the possibility of pre-camp testing, no outside visitors, no out of camp trips, proper cleaning and sanitizing procedures, and more.

In order to avoid any delays, we are asking everyone to submit all of your camp forms now. If we are missing any forms for your child, you will receive a separate email with a list of these forms. We will continue to hold off on final billing until we know our status.

We look forward to sharing more details as they become available. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us with any questions or concerns.
