Once again, we have to inform the community of multiple break-ins that took place over this past Shabbos. It seems that Sutton Park was hit the hardest this time, as the thieves combed through the entire area while checking the cars. They walk through and feel all the doorknobs of cars to see if any were left unlocked. Many of the cars did not have anything substantial for the thieves to walk away with.
The footage below shows two of the suspects in action on Lakeside Drive South in Sutton Park Friday night, where a debit card was reported stolen.
Additionally, we received three more reports of car break-ins on Lord Ave from that same night.
Our intention with these notifications is to keep the community alert and vigilant. All cars must be double-checked every evening before going to sleep to make sure they are properly locked. We hope that the perpetrators are caught very soon. If anyone has any more information or surveillance please continue to send our way or you can send in to RNSP, who do a great job at keeping our community safe.
