Inspectors arrived at Yeshiva Shaarei Torah of Flatbush and began writing a summons, before being informed and shown that there were zero students in the building. The inspectors admitted to having a list of places to give the summons to, without verifying if the schools were even open or not.
As the Executive Director of the Yeshiva continued asking what the inspectors were doing there, one of the very confused inspectors began to make frantic phone calls. As she was thinking about how to properly respond she asks to stop being recorded.

“In the words of the inspector: they have a list of schools to issue summonses. They made ZERO attempt to confirm if the school was closed before writing the summons. (It WAS closed).
This keeps happening-it’s not an isolated incident. Orthodox Jews continue to be targeted in NY. I have contacted the Department of Health regarding this incident. This harassment must stop.”
Councilman Kalman Yeger Tweeted:
“This terror being inflicted on law-abiding New Yorkers by City Hall has sadly become standard. Here is a CLOSED school about to receive a summons. Fortunately, the Quota Agents were caught by school management.
@NYCMayor de Blasio, this must stop NOW!!!”
