Boeing 737 Max Embarks on First U.S. Commercial Flights Since Two-Year Grounding

American Airlines became the first commercial airline in the US to return Boeing 737 Max to the skies on Tuesday since flights using the plane were grounded worldwide in March 2019 following two crashes. The first flight was from Miami to New York. The US Federal Aviation Administration cleared the approval in November.
