Dear Community Members,
We are pleased to announce that Bnos Bais Yaakov will once again be distributing food boxes to our community (11691 Catchment area ONLY). These boxes will include semi prepared food staples for a week’s worth of meals, for children ages 18 and younger.
REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN for Monday February 15th distribution with a limited amount of boxes available. All information entered will be stored for future registration and can be accessed using your phone number. If your child is in playgroup, daycare, seminary, college or non-local Mesivta please use the first four options on the school list.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING NEW YORK STATE RULES AND REGULATIONS BEFORE BEGINNING YOUR REGISTRATION PROCESS. CHILDREN WILL ONLY BE APPROVED BY MEETING THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:
STATE MANDATE: CHILDREN ATTENDING PUBLIC SCHOOL OR A SCHOOL PROVIDING GOVERNMENT SPONSORED MEALS

MAY NOT RECEIVE PACKAGES THROUGH OUR SITE.

  • REGISTRATION AND APPROVAL MUST BE COMPLETED PRIOR TO PICKUP
  • PRINTED CONFIRMATION MUST BE PRESENTED AT TIME OF PICKUP. NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • PICKUP IS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
UPDATE: The state has allowed us to add the following zip codes: 11365, 11366, 11375, 11208, 10314.
 
Please note, there will be a limited amount of boxes available and registration will close once they are designated. We will work to increase production for future weeks as needed. You can enter your information to be stored for future weeks.
PICKUP TIMES AND LOCATION: (times for this week only)
  • TIME: Monday February 15th, 2:30-7:30.
  • LOCATION: BBY – 613 Beach 9th street, Far Rockaway. SIDE ENTRANCE ON HICKSVILLE RD.
  • BY ORDER OF THE NYPD PLEASE DO NOT USE BEACH 9TH STREET TO ACCESS HICKSVILLE RD, INSTEAD USE READS LANE TO ACCESS HICKSVILLE RD AND TRAVEL WEST TO REACH THE DISTRIBUTION POINT.
The food items in the box are strictly kosher and have been carefully chosen to accommodate the needs of our children and meet the states nutritional requirements. For questions or concerns please email [email protected].
