Another round of snow and mixed precipitation is headed our way on Thursday into Friday. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for New York City and much of the Tri-State. Current forecasts call for 3 to 6 inches in the boroughs and 6 to 12 in areas north and west of the city.
Flakes are expected to start falling Thursday morning. It’s going to come in pretty heavy initially, once the snow gets underway, it’s going to mix with sleet.
As a storm continues exits the region on Tuesday, the next snowstorm is on the way for the Northeast. @Brittany_Boyer has details: https://t.co/9yV0HeEl57 pic.twitter.com/mlx8LnZcbX
