After weeks of uncertainty, there is now news regarding students returning to Israel after Pesach.

Students who have previously commenced studies in Israel, and hold valid student visas, will be granted permission to return to Israel, providing that they are documented as vaccinated/recovered in Israel. Additionally, visa holder families with children who are not recovered/vaccinated, will be granted permission to enter, as well.

This accomplishment is due to the unstinting efforts of Rabbi Nechemia Malinowitz of the Igud. At this point, only the Igud will be able to obtain permits for eligible yeshiva or seminary students. Students must contact their institution, which will submit their information to the Igud.

As rules and regulations can and will change frequently, we urge all students to work towards obtaining their permits as soon as soon as possible.

At this time, permission is not being granted to new students. We are hopeful for changes for that group at a later date.
