Orthodox Runner Beatie Deutsch Begins Campaigning For Adidas

0

I’m so excited about my new campaign with @adidas and their support for me as a proudly Orthodox Jewish elite female marathon runner and mom of 5 (if that sounds like a mouthful, just try juggling it all๐Ÿ˜œ)

This entire week I have spent reminding myself that the goal I’ve set out to achieve, which seems almost IMPOSSIBLE, is nothing for me.

When the voices swirling in my head threaten to tell me I can’t possibly run 42.2km at a 3:32/km pace I have countered them with affirmations. When the doubt bubbles up inside, I hold onto my faith and remind myself that I’ve done the hard work and Hashem is the true source of my strength.

So often, the narrative we play in our head is one of hesitation, worry and fear. When things get difficult we fall prey to the ‘Impossible Game’ and let those voices of despair take over. It’s easy to give up when things feel hard…when it all seems impossible and you have absolutely no idea whether you succeed.

But if there’s anything I’ve learned from running, it is to stand strong and stay positive, to drown out the voices of self-defeat and hold on to faith. And that nothing is ever IMPOSSIBLE.

Less than one week away from the BIG DAY. I’m using these next 5 days to remind myself that IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING and HASHEM IS WITH ME EVERY STEP OF THE WAY.

What messages do you tell yourself when the ‘Impossible’ voices try and take over? ๐Ÿ‘‡

Thank you @adidas for the opportunity to share this powerful message
