After competing against each other in the February Special Election, Osina joins Brooks-Powers’ coalition of support.

QUEENS, N.Y. – Councilwoman Selvena Brooks-Powers, running for re-election in the 31st District, has been endorsed by Pesach Osina, who competed against her in the February Special Election for the seat.

“I have known Selvena Brooks-Powers throughout her career, she has always put serving the community first over her own personal needs. She is the proactive leader we need fighting for us in the City Council. I will be voting for Selvena as my #1 choice to lead the 31st Council District, and I look forward to working with her to bring all of our communities together,” said Pesach Osina.

“I am excited to have Pesach Osina’s support as I run for re-election. He’s a dedicated community leader, and we have worked together to bring positive change to Southeast Queens. I look forward to continuing to work with him to ensure our community has the resources we need to recover,” said Councilwoman Brooks-Powers.
