The Nationals drafted Elie Kligman in the 20th round of the draft out of Cimarron-Memorial HS in Nevada. He’s an observant Jew who doesn’t play on Shabbos and Davens three times a day. He is the second Frum Jew to be drafted in 2021.

If he plays professional baseball on Shabbos or Yom Tov then he’s not an Orthodox Jew.
