BREAKING: Man claiming to be Palestinian reportedly made bomb threats earlier today against Bagels & Co, a kosher eatery in Queens, N.Y. Apparently he was angry about the Israeli flags displayed on the store.
Assemblyman David Weprin is a regular there and is monitoring situation, as is Inspector Kevin Chan, commanding officer of the NYPD’s 107th precinct.
Why are we “monitoring” and not “arresting” if there is a bomb threat. Unfortunately it appears that matters affecting the safety of Jews is not a priority in New York. Most sad and disturbing.
Unfortunately the safety of all humans in New York City is not a priority.
