Respected mayors from five local villages are backing Eric “Ari” Brown in the April 7th special election for the vacant 20th Assembly seat. Mayors from the villages of Cedarhurst, Lawrence, Atlantic Beach, Island Park and East Rockaway voiced their support for Eric “Ari” Brown in the upcoming race for New York State Assembly. Brown, who is the Deputy Mayor of Cedarhurst, expressed gratitude for the confidence and support of the municipal government leaders.

“I am tremendously grateful for the confidence these respected mayors have placed in me and the support that they have offered for my campaign,” said Brown. “I am going to work closely with these officials when I am in the State Legislature to address the priorities of the communities that we will mutually represent.”

“I’ve worked alongside Ari Brown in the Village of Cedarhurst to deliver great services at the lowest possible cost,” said Cedarhurst Mayor Ben Weinstock. “He has been a superlative Deputy Mayor. I am confident that Ari will bring his experience and energy to Albany, working hard to cut taxes and deliver state aid to communities in the 20 th Assembly District.”

“Neighbors throughout the Five Towns know Eric ‘Ari’ Brown as a caring village official who fights hard for neighbors,” stated Lawrence Mayor Alex Edelman. “He is committed to preserving the suburban character of our area and keeping communities safe.”

“I know that Ari Brown will stop the Governor’s effort to do away with single-family home zoning in New York, which would destroy our residential neighborhoods,” declared Island Park Mayor Mike McGinty. “Together, we will preserve our area as a lovely place in which to work, live and raise a family.”

“East Rockaway needs Eric ‘Ari’ Brown in the New York State Assembly,” said East Rockaway Mayor Bruno Romano. “Ari will be a powerful voice in the Legislature for our communities. He will support full funding for our police, and he will work to reverse the dangerous ‘bail laws,’ which have made our communities less safe.”

“Waterfront communities such as Atlantic Beach rely on strong leaders in Albany to protect our communities from storm damage and coastal flooding,” said Atlantic Beach Mayor George Pappas. “Ari Brown will stand with south shore residents to fund coastal hardening and storm resiliency projects. That’s why I am backing Ari.”

“I respect and admire the mayors who represent communities in the 20 th Assembly District,” concluded Brown. “I am dedicated to preserving the suburban character of our communities, fighting runaway taxes, keeping our neighborhoods safe, protecting our coastal areas from storm damage and supporting our police. I am eager to work with village mayors and everyone else who is committed to the well-being of our beautiful south shore home.”

  1. Ari Brown has my vote for the simple reason that he’s actually from the Five Towns and didn’t just move here to run for office, and also because he’s honest, kept taxes low and opposes bail reform and the Albany swamp. He will make a fantastic representative for our community!!! Vote Ari!!

  2. Ari is a real genuine person not a political hack. He’s always been on the side of klal Yisroel and I would love to see him as our assemblyman !!

  3. Bail reform passed on Missy Miller (his big supporter’s) watch. She was in the Assembly and she allowed Bail Reform to pass!!! What can he do that she could not ?

You are correct – he did not just move here. He’s been a Trustee for over 20 years – by hiring friends and threatening those that ever wanted to run for any position.

Same old bullying tactics. Keep moving. Nothing to see here.

  4. Lobl has my vote. I don’t know who he is but Brown compared vaccines to the Nazis and the Holocaust. He also made the meters that tell the meter maids the second your meter expires so you get tickets. We don’t need that in Albany.

  5. Getting endorsements from local Republican politicians is about as impressive as bullying storeowners on Central Ave to display his signs. Bully tactics may be effective at getting stores to display his sign, but they won’t work at the polling place, where he can’t see who people are voting for.

  6. Is he really bullying people to put signs up?? Didn’t his opponent write slanderous stuff for Cuomo to say lashon hara about his old opponent and make a massive chilul hashem when the New York Times wrote about it? The way I see it, Lobl had his chance in power in Albany when he worked for Cuomo – and he failed big time and did nothing for us. Why not give Brown a chance?

  7. If only the mayer there in theyre village had the pair to handle him the way our mayer handled our deputy mayer.
Or is he bullying the mayer there to

  8. @jake First of all its MAYOR. Learn to spell. As far as the mayor , if it is who I think it is, if they ever investigated you mayors bus company, your mayor would most probably get a pair, a pair of silver bracelets.
