Strauss Group, one of Israel’s largest food product manufacturers, said Monday that numerous popular chocolate products produced by its subsidiary company Elite would be recalled due to concerns of salmonella contamination.
A company spokesperson said that it has not received any complaints of illness from consumers but nevertheless the company is recalling all relevant products manufactured in the past two months.
The products being recalled belonging to its “Elite” line of chocolate snacks include chocolate bars, Energy Bars, Pesek Brownie Cakes, Chocolate Waffles and many others others. See full list of products and their “best before” dates full statement below:
The company asks the public not to consume the products on the above list. Consumers who possess packages marked with the dates mentioned above can turn to Unilever Consumer Sharing Center for an alternative product.
