Bingo Wholesale, a very well liked Kosher supermarket known as “A Superstore Offering Super Savings”, is headed to the 5 Towns.
Bingo currently has stores in Lakewood NJ, Brooklyn NY & Spring Valley NY. This would be the first location on Long Island.
The company leased the 61,669-square-foot space formerly occupied by Stop & Shop at the Burnside Commons shopping center on Burnside Avenue in Inwood.
The new Inwood store is expected to open around Pesach time this coming year, 2023.

I hope they keep the same Hisachdus certification on the meat departmen like in their other stores. Now finally those who have prefer a more strict supervision won’t have to drive into Brooklyn anymore to buy their beef and poultry!
Fantastic news. This neighborhood seriously needs competition to force the overpriced Gourmet Glatt near-monopoly (and Seasons) to compete on price. Can someone explain to me why GG in Brooklyn and Lakewood sell the same items for less than their Five Towns store? Hopefully this brings some much needed competition and lower prices

Shop at Costco and stop shop
Stop & Shop is not cheap. Costco does not have much in the kosher selection. They are also not cheap either. Neither was has a kosher meat department.
Bingo is cheap. At least a lot cheaper than GG and Kol Save. They also have a better selection.
I’m just glad they aren’t moving to Central Avenue and make traffic even worse than it already is. The old Stop and Shop location is very good.

In order to bring the Jewish community to the area we need FOOD. Bingo is the beginning of our goal. Currently 22 acres are dedicated to a new Hospital.
