Dear Parents and Faculty:
As you may have heard, there was a police incident, totally unrelated to TAG, in the vicinity of the school this afternoon during Elementary dismissal time.
Baruch Hashem our staff did exactly as trained. The girls were sheltered indoors, in place, and our security team, including our uniformed armed police officer that has been engaged by TAG, were all outside the building. Baruch Hashem the girls were never exposed to any danger.
The perpetrator was apprehended within moments by NYPD.
Should you daughter be expressing any trauma please share this information with her. If you feel the need please don’t hesitate to reach out to any member of our administration.
