A brazen carjacking took place in Boro Park Sunday evening. A black male can be seen getting into a car, that was stopped at a gas station filling up gas. Video footage captured the terrifying moment. The perpetrator hopped right into the front seat, as multiple frum girls can be seen fleeing from the vehicle just in time. The man quickly drove off with their minivan.
Besides being a very traumatizing experience for those involved, this incident continues to raise concern about the non-stop violence in Brooklyn and New York City.
The theft took place at 18th Ave & 60th St in Boro Park. The minivan is a 2022 grey Honda Odyssey, NY plates AHS-3826. Shomrim and the NYPD are asking the public for help in locating the vehicle and perpetrator.
