At approximately 5:30 yesterday afternoon (Shabbos), a male around 40 years old, possibly Hispanic, was parked outside of a shul on Central Avenue in a light colored Chevy Cruz, possibly grey, with all 4 windows down. The man was seen exposing himself and engaging in lewd behavior. Upon being discovered, he fled toward Rockaway Turnpike.
RNSP Tech Squad units are curently working with NCPD Detectives on obtaining video footage of the incident and gathering more information that will help identify a suspect. As it is, RNSP patrols have already been increased over this yom tov season, and systems are currently being put in place to further protect our houses of worship.
