IMPORTANT UPDATE: The accident on Broadway was the result of a police chase and the suspect is still on the loose in the Broadway and Waverly area in Lawrence.
Multiple police teams are searching for the suspect, as well as helicopters from above. If you live in that area, lock your doors and call the police if you see any suspicious activity immediately.

There was just a very bad accident by Broadway and Spruce, one of the vehicles was on fire. Broadway is closed off completely. There are helicopters overhead and a large emergency response. Avoid the area.
