Rockets Shot Into Southern Israel From Gaza Strip, No Injuries Reported

Rocket sirens sounded off in Southern Israel, near Nachal Oz. The rockets were reportedly fired from the Gaza Strip and landed in an ‘open area’.

No interceptors were launched, and Chasdei Hashem no injuries were reported, as the missiles landed in an open field. The Iron Dome anti-missile defense system does not activate and waste missiles if the incoming projectile is headed towards an unpopulated area.

In response to the rocket fired toward Israel today, the IDF targeted a weapons manufacturing site and terrorist tunnel belonging to the Hamas terrorist organization.

The PIJ is believed to be responsible for the missiles.
