Meshulem Epstein joins the Coach Menachem Show. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. He has been involved in the treatment of OCD for the past 20 years and has a special interest in the intersection of anxiety and Halacha. He is the clinical director of the OCD and Anxiety Treatment Center which services the greater Lakewood Community. He received a BA in Hebrew and completed his Master’s in Social Work at Marywood University.
Early in his clinical work he met Jonathon Grayson PhD, Director of the Anxiety and Agoraphobia Center in Bala Cynwyd PA, and a nationally known expert in OCD. That training was the beginning of a life-long professional relationship. After training with Dr. Grayson, Meshulem began specializing in treating OCD, and more specifically, scrupulosity. Since then, he has been in demand for trainings and consultations in the US and abroad. He is a professional member of the Obsessive Compulsive Foundation, and through that has cultivated relationships with leading researchers and clinicians across the country.
Since embarking on this career course, Meshulem has spent countless hours discussing the halachic implications of his work with leading Poskim and Gedolim and most recently has given training for the Bais HaVaad’s Medical Halacha Division. Currently has offices in Lakewood NJ, and Scranton PA. He resides in Scranton with his wife and children.
