PM Netanyahu Announces “Pause” to Judiciary Reform Following Mass Protests

0

PM Netanyahu says he will pause the judicial reform push following recent developments in which hundreds of thousands have taken to the streets across Israel.

Widespread strikes have occurred nationwide, including at Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport, Hospitals, and significant mall outlets.

Israel’s Prime Minister has temporarily suspended the planned judicial reform in light of mounting pressure from the political spectrum, including President Isaac Herzog and inside the governing coalition. Tensions are high as large protests continue from Israelis on all sides of the political spectrum.
