The New York grand jury considering possible criminal charges against former President Donald Trump has formally indicted him, making him the first former president of the United States to face such charges.
The felony indictment, filed under seal by the Manhattan district attorney’s office, will likely be announced in the coming days. By then, prosecutors working for the district attorney, Alvin L. Bragg, will have asked Mr. Trump to surrender and face arraignment on unknown charges.

Yes, they can come for you, too, if there is sufficient evidence you broke the law. If you do the crime, you pay the time.
Quell the indignant pearl clutching and outrage – an indictment doesn’t mean he’s found guilty, it means there’s enough solid evidence of a crime to warrant a trial. At least they’re giving him the courtesy of trying him as an adult.
