Hillel Fuld: 10 Ways Kamala Harris Has “Contributed” to Israel’s Self-Defense

16

At last night’s debate, Vice President Kamala Harris said she supports Israel’s right to defend itself.

Here are 10 ways she has “contributed” to Israel’s self defense:

1. Her administration released $16,000,000,000 (billion) to Iran. Iran orchestrated October 7th and has threatened to wipe Israel off the map. Six of those Billions were released AFTER October 7th.

2. She tried sanctioning an IDF unit

3. She has sanctioned Israeli citizens in the midst of an existential war. She didn’t sanction Palestinian terror supporters of which there are many in the US. This weakened Israeli deterrence and emboldened Hamas.

4. When running for president in 2020 she voted against outlawing BDS laws.

5. Literally paused weapons to Israel in the midst of the current war. Once again introducing daylight between Israel and the US and emboldening terror world wide

6. Called Rafah a red line and threatened Israel for entering it, despite it being a critical hideout for Hamas where they were keeping hostages. She is in many ways responsible for the current suffering of the hostages.

7. Passed an anti-Israel UN resolution pressuring Israel to an unwanted and detrimental ceasefire.

8. Her administration expressed anger at the fact that Israel killed Ismail Haniyeh, the leader of Hamas and the one that promised to commit endless October 7ths.

9. Her administration threatened Israel against escalating with Hezbollah and is responsible for the current displacement of 60,000 Israelis.

10. Harris claimed Israel was “starving” the Gazans despite that being a lie and downright blood libel that was recently even disproven by the historically biased UN. Adding more daylight and ruining the hostage negotiations in the process.

As you can see Harris has been great for Israel’s self defense.

Israel and America have a bond stronger than any single administration but Biden and his VP have really tested that relationship.

  1. Too many Jews will vote for her, because too many Jews are ill-informed. The Democratic Party is no longer the party of my parents. Even if you can’t stand Trump the man, Trump the POTUS was outstanding. Our country was doing better than it had in decades. So he’s NOT a diplomat or orator. He makes promises and follows through (unless the liberal left ties his hands). The Biden/Harris administration made us look weak and stupid on the world stage. Worst of all, they lied and lied and lied some more about Biden’s very obvious decline. Enough of this garbage. We need a strong leader, whose commitment to our country and to israel is unshakeable.

  2. The Democrats are in reality communists. If GD forbid, they take control, the future of Israel and the future of Judaism in the USA will be in as much danger as Jews faced in the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany combined

  3. For our Jewish voters, remember HE moved the Embassy to Jerusalem. He executed the Abraham accords with countries that weren’t always so friendly toward Israel. Our economy was fine with unemployment down and the stock market up. He tried very hard to keep all the promises he made when he ran for president. But let’s not forget our border crisis. Remember he built a wall and the democracy’s tore it down.

  4. Secular Jews vote Democrat primarily because they are the pro-abortion party.

And abortion is sacrosanct to them.

I would imagine any religious Jew who votes Democrat probably has a financial interest in doing so. They may have a cushy government job or work for an industry that benefits from Democrats being in power, like the legal or accounting profession.

  5. Detailed Debunking of False Claims Regarding Kamala Harris’s Stance on Israel
In light of recent partisan claims, Kamala Harris’s stance on Israel has been misrepresented and distorted. The Biden-Harris administration has demonstrated a consistent pro-Israel stance, especially in the aftermath of the October 7, 2023, Hamas attacks. Below is a detailed debunking of various claims, explaining where misinterpretations have occurred.
    1. Claim: The $6 Billion Release to Iran
The $6 billion released to Iran was Iranian money frozen in South Korean banks as part of U.S. sanctions. This money was released as part of a prisoner swap deal and is strictly designated for humanitarian purposes such as food and medicine. The funds remain under strict oversight in Qatar, and as of the October 7th Hamas attack, none of the money had been accessed by Iran for military purposes.
Why This Claim Is Misinterpreted: The confusion comes from conflating this humanitarian fund release with Iran’s broader funding sources, such as oil revenues that have been historically used to fund groups like Hezbollah and Hamas. Sanctions remain in place to curb these other sources, but Iran continues to fund militancy through non-state actors.

    2. Claim: Sanctioning an IDF Unit
There is no confirmed information suggesting that the U.S. or Kamala Harris sanctioned any specific IDF unit. The U.S. has voiced criticism of Israeli settlements in the West Bank but has not sanctioned any part of the Israeli military.
Why This Claim Is Distorted: The criticism of Israeli settlement policy has been misinterpreted as sanctioning military units, which is false. The U.S. has maintained its military cooperation with Israel, particularly in defense matters.

    3. Claim: Sanctioning Israeli Citizens
The U.S. has indeed sanctioned specific individuals involved in human rights violations, such as Elor Azaria, an Israeli soldier convicted of manslaughter. However, these sanctions are targeted and aimed at individuals involved in specific crimes, not Israeli citizens broadly.
Why This Claim Is Distorted: The misunderstanding likely comes from equating these targeted sanctions with broader action against Israeli citizens. In reality, the Biden-Harris administration has balanced criticism of certain policies with strong military and diplomatic support for Israel.

    4. Claim: Opposition to Anti-BDS Laws
Kamala Harris has defended free speech rights, including the right to engage in peaceful boycotts like the BDS movement, but she has clearly stated that she opposes BDS. The Biden-Harris administration’s stance has been nuanced: opposing BDS while defending the right to peaceful protest as a First Amendment issue.
Why This Claim Is Misinterpreted: The distinction between opposing BDS laws (due to free speech concerns) and opposing the BDS movement itself may have been conflated. Harris has been clear in her support for Israel while opposing boycotts on free speech grounds.

    Source: Times of Israel

    5. Claim: Paused Weapons to Israel
There have been no verified reports of the U.S. pausing arms shipments to Israel during the current conflict. Some have misinterpreted routine arms reviews as evidence of a pause, but the Biden administration has supplied Iron Dome interceptors and other military aid during Israel’s defense against Hamas.
Why This Claim Is Distorted: This claim likely stems from exaggerations or confusion about routine arms reviews, not any intentional delay or embargo. The U.S. has consistently provided Israel with the necessary military tools for self-defense.

    6. Claim: Rafah Crossing as a “Red Line”
There is no evidence that Kamala Harris or the Biden administration threatened Israel over the Rafah border crossing. The U.S. has encouraged the safe passage of civilians and humanitarian aid but has not intervened to prevent Israeli military operations in the area.
Why This Claim Is Distorted: Efforts to protect civilians in Gaza may have been misinterpreted as opposition to Israel’s military objectives. The U.S. has remained a strong backer of Israel’s right to self-defense.
    Source: FactCheck.org

    7. Claim: Harris Supported an Anti-Israel UN Resolution
The Biden administration has consistently vetoed or opposed anti-Israel resolutions at the UN. There is no evidence that Harris supported any anti-Israel resolution calling for a ceasefire detrimental to Israel’s security.
Why This Claim Is Misinterpreted: Diplomatic efforts to protect civilians or encourage ceasefires may have been exaggerated into claims of an anti-Israel stance. The U.S. has repeatedly affirmed Israel’s right to defend itself.
    Source: Middle East Eye

    8. Claim: Anger Over the Killing of Ismail Haniyeh
There is no evidence that Kamala Harris or the Biden administration expressed anger over the killing of Ismail Haniyeh. In fact, Haniyeh’s death has not been confirmed, and the administration has consistently supported Israel’s right to target Hamas leadership.
Why This Claim Is Misinterpreted: The claim may stem from misunderstandings or confusion about diplomatic responses during Israel’s military operations.
    Source: Tablet Magazine

    9. Claim: Threats Over Escalation with Hezbollah
The U.S. has encouraged caution in dealing with Hezbollah to prevent a larger regional conflict but has not threatened Israel. Diplomatic efforts focus on avoiding wider destabilization, while still supporting Israel’s right to defend itself.
Why This Claim Is Distorted: Diplomatic recommendations for restraint are often misinterpreted as opposition to Israeli military actions. However, the U.S. remains committed to supporting Israel’s security.
    Source: Tablet Magazine

    10. Claim: Harris Accused Israel of Starving Gazans
Kamala Harris has raised humanitarian concerns about the lack of food and medicine in Gaza but has never accused Israel of intentionally starving the population. Her comments focus on ensuring humanitarian aid reaches civilians while backing Israel’s military right to target Hamas.
Why This Claim Is Misinterpreted: Comments about the need for humanitarian aid have been exaggerated into accusations against Israel. Harris supports both humanitarian efforts and Israel’s right to defend itself.

    Larger Context of Iranian Funding
The $6 billion released to Iran is strictly for humanitarian purposes, but Iran’s broader funding sources, such as oil revenues, continue to support militant activities like Hezbollah and Hamas. The U.S. has maintained sanctions aimed at curbing these other sources of funding, although Iran has found ways to finance its proxies.
    Conclusion
Many of the claims made against Kamala Harris and the Biden administration are misrepresentations or exaggerations of actual events. The U.S. has remained committed to Israel’s defense while balancing diplomatic efforts to protect civilians in conflict zones like Gaza. Harris’s actions reflect a careful balancing of military support for Israel and humanitarian concerns, showing strong and consistent backing for Israel’s security.

  6. Every single thing written here is a total lie and a misrepresentation. I won’t even bother to go thru each point, because it’s all nonsense and doesn’t warrant a detailed rebuttal. You are going to cause unprecedented Sinat Chinam by publishing this type of silly propaganda.

The fact is that Israel has gotten unprecedented support from the Biden admin throughout this war, and the US remains the ONLY remaining country in the world that is supporting Israel at this point. Making up lies and having zero hakarat hatov to your friends, is a surefire way to lose your only source support, which apparently is the aim of all the Trump supporters.

Most importantly, on the flip side, the notion that a 78-year old man with the emotional maturity of a 5-year old is somehow going to save Israel is ludicrous. The fact of the matter, is that Iran (Hamas etc) doesn’t get their support from the US. They get it from people like Putin, and Kim Jong Un, both people who Trump lavishes with love letters. So the person who supports these dictators who directly aid the enemies of Israel is going to help Israel?

Israel is literally not on the ballot in November because in reality the approach to the war will be the same no matter who wins. If you don’t see that, then you are just blinded by propaganda.

  7. “I would imagine any religious Jew who votes Democrat probably has a financial interest in doing so.”

Funny, I think that applies to any Jew who votes Republican. The only reason to vote for a 78-year old toddler whose entire life represents the anti-thesis of Jewish values, is because of the hope that he will lower your taxes. There is no other discernible reason other than taxes to vote for Trump and bringing up the Israel issue is just a cover for feeling guilty about the true reason for the vote.

  8. To Paul Greenberg,
Quotes from Tablet magazine – are null and void to most of us – supporters of Israel – their philosophy is “Tikkun Olam” which is very dangerous to our existence -“take care or your own garden before you tend to other’s” ..
It has proven in aiding and giving every humane aid to the Gazans, Syrians, Ukrainians non – stop, while they gave us… heartache only. It has proven deadly in the friendship and trust shown to the barbarians who invaded and plunged fear, death and stealing of our people from their beds, on October 7th – who are suffering now in humid, airless tunnels starving.

  9. We vote Republican because historically they have been stronger on international issues and have kept our enemies at bay far better than Democrats.

The current Russia Ukraine war, Israel / Iran, China harassing our allies, all happened under the Biden administration. None of it happened under the Trump administration.

Having lower taxes is certainly a benefit and lends towards a healthier economy.

I don’t think anyone who voted Republican because they are better allies to Israel, is shy about admitting that. On the contrary they are quite public about it.

Weakness invites aggression, and the Democrats have made a disaster of our foreign policy.

I’d sooner vote for a 78-year-old toddler whom the world fears, than a demented old creep, and his inept vice president, whom the world will exploit.

Votes have consequences and when voting Democrat people around the world die in the thousands.

I can assure you that Putin, Xi and the supreme leader of Iran are hoping Kamala wins.

  10. 1. Trump is not a Republican and holds zero views that are typically considered Republican. So you can’t bring in the historical Republican party views to defend Trump. I would gladly vote for a Republican for President and have before, and I vote for many Republicans locally. But Trump is not a Republican.

    2. “historically they have been stronger on international issues and have kept our enemies at bay far better than Democrats.” Utter nonsense. 9/11 happened under Republican admin. Enough said.

    3. Russia/Ukraine. Putin is a maniac. Biden doesn’t control Putin. The invasion happened and certainly wouldn’t have happened under Trump, because Trump would have just given Ukraine to Putin for a few shekels. The only question now is, given the current reality, who do you support? Putin or Ukraine?

    4. Lower taxes are always welcome, but then why support Trump who raised your taxes in NY by capping SALT? Anyway, the big problem in the Northeast is state taxes, and federal tax policy will have zero impact on that, and arguably Trump presidency will further increase taxes in the northeast because of some unintended consequences of his policies. Furthermore, from what I can tell, people in the 5 Towns are making more money than ever (the Biden economy has actually been good for you!), so it’s strange how $ is anything to worry about under any administration. You’ll be fine either way.

    5. “Republicans are better allies on Israel.” False. Biden has and continues to provide unprecedented support to Israel. This is precisely why the antisemites like to call him “genocidal Joe”. Yes, there is tiny minority of Democrats now that hate Israel, but they have zero impact on actual policy and nobody really pays attention to them. There are plenty of antisemites in the Republican party as well, and Trump likes to court their attention, but they too have zero impact. All in all, the support of Israel is strong on both sides and making believe this is an actual issue on the ballot is again just a means to deflect from the guilt of voting for someone who actually represents the antithesis of every value in Judaism.

    6. “demented old creep, and his inept vice president”. Reminder: Biden is not running, so what you think of him is irrelevant. As for ineptness, every VP in history has been inept, as they have no power. Will Kamala be inept as a President? I really have no idea. She hasn’t been President yet, so nobody knows. As for Trump, he already served and was the most inept President in US history and is clearly becoming demented too, so if ineptness and dementia is your criteria, why are you voting for Trump?

    7. Putin and Xi. Yes, Xi for sure is hoping Kamala wins because the last thing he wants to deal with is endless childish taunts from Trump on tariffs. Putin: fat chance he wants Kamala to win. His public statements supporting her are classic Putin doublespeak.
