Erez is a father of seven, a devoted school principal responsible for 400 students, and a man with unwavering dedication to his country. Though exempt from reserve duty, he volunteered without hesitation, serving for months in Gaza and later joining ground operations in Lebanon.
Just hours before Yom Kippur, Erez was injured in a firefight with Hezbollah terrorists. His survival is nothing short of miraculous. Following two surgeries, he now begins a rigorous rehabilitation journey. In his hospital bed, he was seen holding his lulav and esrog over Sukkos, a symbol of his faith and resilience.
May Erez be blessed with a full recovery, a long life, and health and happiness.
