The Hallandale Beach Police Department (Florida) intensified its efforts on Monday to locate 36-year-old Chaim Haberfeld, who has been missing for nearly a week. Haberfeld, last seen around 7 p.m. last Tuesday on the 900 block of Northeast Second Street, is considered highly vulnerable and may be at risk of exploitation.
According to police, Haberfeld is “extremely vulnerable and easily influenced,” raising serious concerns for his safety. Family members echo these concerns, as they say he has no history of unexplained absences.
Investigators are exploring multiple leads but have yet to uncover a breakthrough. There are fears he may have been targeted by individuals with questionable backgrounds who could exploit his trusting nature, although specifics were not disclosed.
Haberfeld, who works in the jewelry business and is known for selling watches, left no indication of planned travel, which has only intensified concerns for his well-being. Police are actively searching the area for surveillance footage and have issued a public alert, urging anyone with information to contact Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477.
Please Daven for the safe return of Chaim ben Chanah. Besuros Tovos!
