A deadly accident involving a pedestrian occurred on Monday, October 28th, at 11:08 p.m. on Sheridan Boulevard near Nassau Avenue in Inwood.
Detectives report that a man was struck by a 2004 Ford Explorer moving southbound. The 35-year-old driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
The pedestrian sustained critical injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead by medical staff.
No other injuries were reported, and the investigation remains ongoing.
