The Israel Defense Forces have confirmed that Israeli Air Force jets conducted an airstrike in Baraachit, southern Lebanon, killing Abu Ali Rida, a key Hezbollah commander in the region. Rida had been involved in orchestrating rocket and anti-tank missile assaults on IDF soldiers and overseeing Hezbollah’s terror operations in the area.
The IDF reports that its 91st Division remains actively engaged in dismantling terror infrastructure and targeting hostile operatives across southern Lebanon. In a recent incident, forces from the 228th Brigade identified a gunman stationed in a building close to the Israeli border and opened fire, with subsequent aftershocks observed at the site.
