Defense Minister Israel Katz reaffirmed Israel’s position on Gaza aid, making it clear that no humanitarian assistance will be allowed into the Strip at this time.
“Let me be absolutely clear—Israel is not permitting aid into Gaza,” Katz stated. “This remains part of our strategic pressure campaign against Hamas.”
He pushed back against political backlash, particularly from the right, calling claims that Israel was preparing to restart aid “misinformation.”
“There are no current plans or preparations to resume aid,” Katz emphasized.
He added that if aid were ever reinstated, it would only happen under a tightly controlled system involving private civilian companies to ensure Hamas is completely cut off from accessing supplies.
