On November 10, 2021, Woodmere Engine 354 was finishing up with a carbon monoxide incident when they were dispatched to a reported house fire in Woodmere. The crew of E354 were quickly en route to the scene with Ladder 352 trailing closely behind.
Upon arrival Chief Ross Rieman (3502) transmitted a working fire and took the position of incident command. Engine 354 swiftly stretched an attack line while Ladder 352 searched for life and fire inside the home. The crew of Engine 354 proceeded to extinguish the fire.
Also on scene was Lawrence Cedarhurst FD, Inwood 310, Hewlett FD 300, Valley Stream FD & Meadowmere Park FD.
Thankfully no injuries have been reported at this time.
