The Homicide Squad reports the details of a Fatal Vehicular Accident involving a pedestrian that occurred on Wednesday, July 12th, at 11:19 pm in North Lawrence.
According to detectives, a male pedestrian was struck by a vehicle traveling on Rockaway Turnpike near East Avenue. The vehicle fled the scene.
The male victim suffered severe trauma and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
