BREAKING: After 24 hours in the airport, the remaining group members were already in their seats on @Delta, when a mother asked one of them to switch seats so that she can sit next to her son. And for that SIN, they were deplaned. pic.twitter.com/CwYaxBv83P

Rabbi Jacobs (Amsterdam) released the following statement:
Statement with regards to Jewish girls stuck in Amsterdam Airport.
This afternoon a confusion arose between the staff at a KLM flight and a group of 56 Jewish girls, US citizens, traveling from Ukraine to New York. 18 girls had to disembark the plane and are currently rebooking their flights. Due to COVID restrictions they are not allowed to leave the airport. We have been in touch with KLM and the girls were brought kosher pizza’s and food. We hope that they can make it home in New York before Shabbos. If you have any further question, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our office through: [email protected]
At this time 5TC has no further information, we hope this issue can be resolved ASAP. If anyone has any other information, please email us by clicking HERE.
