As previously reported, Cedarhurst and Woodmere residents have been subject to incidents of theft from porches and cars during the past 3 weeks. RNSP continues to patrol the areas during the night and reported to us yet another one of these incidents. From RNSP:
“Nassau County Police Department is investigating the growing trend of rims being stolen off of cars within the 5 Towns. RNSP patrols came across this vehicle in Cedarhurst. We are out there. If You See Something Say Something: IMMEDIATELY call 911 and the RNSP 24 Hour Hotline, (516) 858-7300.”
Additionally, if anybody has any video footage from video camera’s or Ring devices, that may have captured anything- this may be helpful in the investigation and they can contact the Police.
