Bais Haknesses North Woodmere Warning of Possible Exposure

0

I write this letter to the North Woodmere community to inform everyone of a potential Covid exposure. This past Shabbos a guest stayed at my house. After leaving my house, he started to feel some minor symptoms and immediately got himself tested for Covid-19. He has informed me that the rapid test was positive. He had no previous known exposure, and is undergoing further testing, but for now we are assuming that the rapid test is accurate, and that he does indeed have Covid-19. He is extremely concerned and feels terrible about the situation and he made sure to inform me immediately.

I feel that it is important to inform the community of his whereabouts this shabbos so that anyone who may have been exposed can proceed accordingly.

Over Shabbos he attended the following minyanim and wore a mask while at the minyanim and Daf, though not at kiddush and meals:

Friday night Vandam Minyan.

Shabbos day 8AM Vandam Minyan followed by the Chabura.

We then walked to KBH (Rabbi Witkin Shul) where he stepped inside briefly (unmasked)

He then accompanied me to the Rabe Kiddish where we remained for approximately 10 minutes.

He was present at the Daf Yomi and Mincha minyan that followed in the annex, sitting on the right side.

He then davened Mariv at the Vandam minyan.

If you were in contact with this guest please speak with your physician to determine what next steps to take. He has apologized profusely and feels very badly about the situation and we thank him for being forthcoming and advising us as soon as he became aware.

If you need additional information please reach out to me directly.
