The perpetrator going around Lawrence breaking into cars, sheds, and homes has been caught. NCPD had been vigorously following leads about the suspect and he was taken into custody this morning, in Inwood.
The perpetrator was seen this morning at approximately 7:30 AM, attempting yet another burglary. This time he was unsuccessful.
After attempting to break into a home, he then grabbed a bike and attempted to flee the scene before Police caught and arrested him on the spot [footage below]:
We have been informed this individual was certainly responsible for Lawrence break-in’s, we are still unsure, however, if he was working alone or with others.

Right, so he’ll be out on the street later today? This type of “petty” crimes have been happening for years! When I call the 4th precinct they say It’s not important enough ? Huh? Perry crimes today home invasion later
Seems that he was on the street later that night. My car was broken into in my driveway and Police said very likely it was same guy.
