All five county pools and splash parks reopen today at full capacity.
This comes as 65.1% of the total Nassau County population has now received at least one COVID-19 vaccine dose, including 78.6% of all adults (18+).
Meanwhile, COVID-19 hospitalizations in the County have fallen to their lowest level since the beginning of the pandemic.

While a heat advisory in in full effect, this would be a great time to benefit from the outdoor pools:
Dangerous heat continues…
A Heat Advisory is in effect for much of the region. High temps climb into the 90s for many, but will feel closer to 100 with the humidity.
Heat is one of the leading weather-related killers. Stay safe!
