An IDF officer was tragically killed last night during an exchange of fire with Palestinian terrorists adjacent to the Gilboa Crossing.
Major Bar Falah HY”D was the IDF officer killed last night. Major Falah was the Deputy Commanding Officer of the Nahal Reconnaissance Battalion, 30 years old, and from the city of Netanya.
“Bar was a dedicated soldier, who fought terror and led his troops until his last hour. The operation in which he was killed thwarted a major terrorist attack and saved lives,” said Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid.

Two terrorists were shot dead during the gunfire.
