Moshe Holzberg Leads Tehillim at Knesset Opening in Honor of Parents HY”D

The 120 lawmakers who make up Israel’s 25th Knesset were sworn in today, exactly two weeks after Prime Minister-designate Bibi Netanyahu’s victory in the national election.

During the parliamentary ceremony, legislators, one after the other, stated, “I commit” in response to their names being called out in alphabetical order.

During the opening session, Moshe Holzberg the sole survivor of the 2008 Mumbai terror attack, recited Kapitel 122 of Tehillim in memory of his parents Rabbi Gavriel Noach and Rivka Holtzberg hy”d.

Next week will mark the 14th anniversary of the horrific terror attacks in Mumbai, India during which at least 174 people lost their lives. The terrorist also targeted the Mumbai Chabad House, killing the Holtzbergs and four guests.
