Dedi was one of Israel’s most talented and successful singers and was a “Baal Chesed” of enormous magnitude. Most will never know of all his acts of kindness. Tammy and I and our entire family extend our deepest condolences to Malca and her beautiful children and grandchildren. May you all be comforted by the memories of Dedi’s extraordinary life.”

PM Netanyahu shared thoughts:

“My wife Sarah, Yair, Avner and I,

Mourning the passing of our beloved friend, the late Dedi Graucher. Dedi was a true embodiment of the love of Israel. He made people happy with his unique talent to light up hearts, to make people laugh. Dedi accompanied our children on their growing up journey. He was with us in moments of joy and sorrow. When he would just walk into the room, a big smile would spread across our faces.

Who didn’t love Dedi. The good soul and the light that radiated from him. We are crying tonight with Malka and the children – Tzipora Miriam, Michal Hana, Shira, Shani Yaffe, Shai Meir, Avraham Elimelech, Natan Yair, Renana Zahva, Yaakov Dov, Aviel – and with his countless admirers of this good and wonderful man.

Our family lost a dear friend tonight who we will never forget. Yihi Zichro Baruch.”
