United Airlines Announces Resumption of Flights to Israel

United Airlines has informed the Israel Airports Authority (IAA) of its decision to resume operations in Israel within the next fortnight, as reported by Arutz-7. The airline is slated to commence flights from New York to Tel Aviv on March 2nd, followed by the inaugural flight from Tel Aviv to New York on March 3rd.

United Airlines halted its flights on October 8th amid the outbreak of the attacks, marking it as the first US carrier to resume service on this particular route. Meanwhile, Delta Airlines has also conveyed its plans to the IAA, aiming to restart flights to Israel on May 1st.

In addition to United and Delta, KLM, the Dutch airline, unveiled its intention to launch flights to Israel from April 1st, with daily flights featuring a layover in Larnaca. Moreover, Fly Dubai is strategizing to boost its weekly flights to Dubai from 4 to 6 by the end of March, while Ethiopian Airlines will ramp up its weekly flights to 12, commencing March 1st.
