United Airlines has announced the extension of the cancellation of its daily flight from Newark, New Jersey, to Tel Aviv, Israel, until May 9th. The decision comes as the airline completes a safety assessment amid ongoing security concerns.

In a statement, United Airlines said, “We continue to closely monitor the situation and will make decisions on all upcoming flights with a focus on the safety of our customers and crews.”

This extension follows United’s previous cancellation of flights to Israel until May 2, which was prompted by security concerns. The decision came after Israel’s apparent strike on Iran in response to an Iranian missile and drone attack on Israel.

United Airlines assures its customers that it is committed to prioritizing safety and will continue to assess the situation to ensure the well-being of passengers and crew.
