A significant nor’easter is expected to dump up to a foot of snow in NYC over the weekend. While parts of Long Island can see anywhere from 8 – 12 inches of snow, Eastern Long Island can potentially see up to 18 inches of snow. Accumulation amounts increase in areas East of Long Island & Connecticut. The worst part of the storm is expected to hit New England and parts of NYC.
We continue to monitor the possibility of a significant winter storm affecting the Tri-State late Friday through Saturday.
While too soon for specifics, heavy snow, strong winds, and coastal flooding, are all *possible* at this time.
