We want to alert the community about the recent high volume of thievery that has taken place this past week. There have been multiple theft incidents around town, stretching from Cedarhurst to Baywater. Incidents include packages being stolen, cars rummaged through, sheds broken into, bikes stolen, etc. On Wednesday night, a young man informed us that his wallet was stolen from his car which was parked on Central Ave. in Lawrence. Please be extra vigilant!
If you will be receiving a package and you won’t be home, ask a neighbor or friend bring it in for you. Before going to bed, lock your windows, sheds, cars and anything else that might be inviting to a thief. Never leave anything valuable in your car. See videos below.
