Rockaway Turnpike is currently blocked off coming into town, NCPD is on scene rerouting drivers towards the 878. There’s a fire on a utility pole by the Verizon store on Rockaway Turnpike. There are many fire fighters currently on scene as well. Avoid the area, take alternate route.
There are also many lights out all around town due to the weather. Please use caution at the following intersections, as it can turn into a dangerous situation.
