Two groups were set to leave Kharkiv, in collaborative efforts of Yad Yisroel and Chabad Lubavitch. One group was supposed to leave Monday (March 8th, 5th of Adar Bais) and the second group was set to depart on Tuesday.
18 people (including full families) who lived in one building were of the group that was supposed to leave Monday. Miraculously the lists were “mixed up” and those slated to leave Tuesday ended up leaving Monday instead.
After they were evacuated Monday, the building where those 18 people lived was shelled by Russian forces and completely destroyed!
The danger is terrifying and the Nissim are amazingly real. May Hashem continue to protect all in this grave danger.
