Miracles Amid the Tears: Multiple Open Nissim Seen in Last Nights Terror Attack

Klal Yisroel as an entire nation is still in a state of pain and mourning following the horrific events that took place in Bnei Brak yesterday. Unfortunately, we as Jews have had to deal with terrible tragedies for thousands of years. Even though we have many dark and scary times in our history, we all see Judaism as a religion of tremendous light and simcha.

It’s at times like these that Hashem offers us a glimmer of hope and His boundless love to give us strength to continue onward.

R’ Chaim Shmuelvitz zt”l, Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivas Mir, expressed this idea by the story of Yosef Hatzadik. Yosef on his way down to Egypt in the “darkest of times” was given a “kiss from Hashem” the nice smelling aroma of the sweet besamim instead of gas and oils that merchants would normally have been carrying. This was to show him that all was going to be for the good and allow him to see the Yad Hashem in these very difficult and unbearable times.

There were multiple open Nissim that took place during the attack that spared multiple lives last night in Bnei Brak:

1) The moment the terrorists gun got jammed when attempting to shoot a biker at point blank range.

The survivor went back to the exact spot where he was spared, donned his Tefillin and bentched Birchas Hagomel.

2) Paramedic Menachem Englander survived after the terrorist’s gun jammed, as Menachem ran across the street.

3) The terrorist also tried to enter a nearby residential apartment building, but Chasdei HaShem the door was locked and he couldn’t gain entry.

4) The terrorist can be seen in the footage below running through the streets and multiple children narrowly escaping:
