The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) says amoxicillin oral solution, is in shortage.
Pharmacies across the United States are reporting shortages of one of the most widely used antibiotics, raising concerns that the medication will be in short supply for the upcoming winter season.
Five amoxicillin manufacturers reported shortages to the FDA. One company cites “stronger demand than anticipated” as a reason for the scarcity.
