Shalom Sofer HY”D was a father and a husband.
Two weeks ago, he was stabbed in a terrorist attack in al Funduq. He succumbed to his wounds earlier today R”L.
IDF sent the following statement: “We send our heartfelt condolences to his family. The IDF will continue to operate to eliminate the threat of terrorism.”
According to Sofer’s son, he had been released from hospital a week ago after his condition stabilized, but one of the stab wounds opened and he died of blood loss on Monday night.
