The Department of Justice has informed Israel that the FBI has opened an investigation into the death of Palestinian American journalist Shireen Abu Akleh, who was killed back in May while reporting on an Israeli military operation in the city of Jenin.
Israel’s defence minister Gantz on FBI’s Shireen Abu Akleh investigation: “The decision taken by the US Justice Department to conduct an investigation into the tragic passing of Shireen Abu Akleh, is a mistake. The IDF has conducted a professional, independent investigation, which was presented to American officials with whom the details were shared.”
“I have delivered a message to US representatives that we stand by the IDF’s soldiers, that we will not cooperate with an external investigation, and will not enable intervention to internal investigations.”
The king of Jordan travels freely to the United States and meets with the President and Congressional leadership while he harbors one of the FBI's most wanted terrorists. But this DOJ would rather act like the ICC or UN Human Rights Council and investigate Israel instead. Unreal.

The FBI has opened an investigation into a case the IDF already closed, second guessing America’s strongest ally. So disrespectful, such chutzpah.
Who are they trying to satisfy? Who has convinced them to disregard Israel?

Just goes to prove how corrupt the fbi and doj has become. It should prove that this organization just like the mafia needs to be dismantled. How dare they try to bully 🇮🇱.
A good point was brought up. They didn’t care when Americans were blown up, run over,stabbed, or shot by arab terrorists. B”H my father Z”L who was a WWII disabled veteran, didn’t have to witness how low this country has fallen.
