The community is urged to come together for the funeral of a man who lived amongst us but was unknown to most. He died alone and is survived by only a nephew. This is a tremendous mitzvah and an opportunity to show who we are as a community.
This would be a tremendous chizuk to his nephew and a tremendous kiddush Hashem. As it is, he is astounded by the tremendous amount of chesed on behalf of a man who was a complete unknown. After a brief funeral, the deceased will be buried in the Chesed Shel Emes Cemetery in Woodridge. NY.
